HRSA Award Update 

January 31:  HRSA notified grant recipients of the following – 

Your Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) award is funded in whole or in part with U.S. government funds.

Effective immediately, HRSA grant funds may not be used for activities that do not align with Executive Order (E.O.) entitled Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing, Initial Recissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Action, Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation, and Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government (Defending Women).  Any vestige, remnant, or re-named piece of programs in conflict with these E.O.s are terminated in whole or in part.

You may not incur any additional costs that support any programs, personnel, or activities in conflict with these E.O.s.

UDS+ Submission Reporting Period

Beginning Tuesday, February 18, health centers will submit some de-identified 2024 UDS patient-level data using Health Level Seven International (HL7)-developed Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) R4 standards (learn more on FHIR’s website). HRSA announced the minimum UDS+ requirements in a bulletin last August.

2024 UDS+ submission requirements include a portion of legacy UDS data elements. The UDS+ submission reporting period will open Tuesday, February 18, and close Wednesday, April 30.
